The BBC Clinical Update Symposium “Bone health: from birth to death” provided an in depth, multifaceted discussion on bone health: the acquisition in the young, the maintenance in the adult and the loss in the old.

The meeting was primarily intended for physicians, but had also be of interest to all professionals involved in the care of osteoporosis patients and who are interested in a substantiated approach to the question of who and how to treat osteoporosis.

There was ample time for questions and discussion. In order to enhance interaction, the number of participants was limited.
